Cherokee Firefighter Promoted

Paul Faulkner was promoted to the rank of sergeant.

 

 

A Cherokee County fire fighter has been promoted.

Cherokee County firefighter Paul Faulkner was promoted to the rank of sergeant during a ceremony on Wednesday at Fire Station 8, located in Holly Springs.

Faulkner has worked with Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services since December 2005. 

In 2002, Faulkner also was a member of the county's Fire Explorer Post #469

The promotion warrant was presented to Faulkner by Cherokee County Fire Chief Tim Prather. Numerous firefighters, chiefs and family members attended the event and a lunch was held afterwards in honor of the promotion.

Faulkner works at Fire Station 24 on River Park Boulevard in Woodstock and lives in Canton with wife Ashley.
