The Cherokee County Adult Detention Center supplied Patch with the mug shots and booking reports of the inmates who appear here. At the time of reporting, none of them has been convicted of the listed charges, and all should be presumed innocent.

It is my strong belief that if you pout a mugshot of someone up on a page for people to view, that people who see that mugshot will indeed subconsciously assume guilt by association. This is a vulgar display and a terrible way to make a buck. Shame on you! Are you gonna post a picture of that same person when they are cleared or found innocent of the charges against them? I bet not!

Jim,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. People who have their charges dropped or are found not guilty can and do request that their mug shot be removed. I am more than happy to take down those mug shots.

Best,
Justin

The problem is that though you may remove the mug shot from your site, its still gone viral and is able to be found elsewhere. The practice of posting mug shots should be restricted to convictions only. Just sayin.

People have to PAY a lot of money for the removal of their mugshot information, it can be found elsewhere only they are not told that - can you say SCAM BE DAMN. People seeing it assume guilt, it is one of the lowest forms of money making there is - I will be among the many trying to rid those people unfairly profiting from others misfortunes.
