8 out of 10 inmates surveyed said Sheriff Garrison's jail is superior to Holiday Inn Express in guest amenities.
Something to think about for your next vacation.

Constitutional jail conditions should not be a grounds to vote out an experienced Sheriff , you girls should read some of the horrors occurring in Douglas County , Rodney Neal Graham died after being there only 4 days , the jail settled out of court for a near million dollars !! That cost the taxpayers . Sheriff Garrison has prevented these tragedies through intensive training for his staff and experience that is proven effective , saving Cherokee county citizens millions in tragic death civil actions / settlements .Vote for Garrison the Sheriff who knows what he's doing .

Sorry Joe, there are so many issues that Garrison is facing because of corruption and bad judgement calls by him and his staff, I say 20 years is way too long for a person to be in office! We need positive change in Cherokee County, let Cherokee County progress....Vote for David Waters, July 31st. David is for positive changes in Cherokee County and he will put an end to the "Good old boy network"!

I heard David Waters the other day talking about how Cherokee County needed change and now all his supporters are saying the same thing. Last time we had "change" it put our country in the mess we are in now! Please remember that. I have learned my lesson and will not be fooled again. Anyone can make promises to us but I honestly feel that we are better served with the Sheriff we have now and his past has proven it.

@David...The last time we had "Change", Obama saved the country from financial collapse, saved the American auto industry, captured Bin Laden, captured Hussein, and has been strategically attacking Al Qaeda. If you recall, GWB squandered a budget surplus and ran $500-600 billion deficits annually, cut taxes for the wealthiest, drove the economy off the cliff, started 2 wars (one of which should have been handled via CIA & commando units and the other, purely a war of choice), diverted strategic military resoures from Afghanistan causing that war to drag on, declared "Success" 9 years ago, and encouraged lending & home ownership for ALL AMERICANS which in turn led to the mortgage crisis.
Unfortunately, some people like yourself won't be "fooled again", simply because they're always foolish and don't understand basic history & economics.
As to Garrison, he may be OK. He may be too powerful. Some people say he's corrupt. But your argument of "no more change" since Change = Obama is retarded.

Right on David! stop these changes! don't want to get fooled again, I couldn't imagine Cuba without a Castro in charge, or Libya without Gaddafi, or Afghanistan without Mullah Mohammad Omar........not saying that Garrison is in the same category, I believe he has done a good job, but I welcome change and will look at what both candidates will do for Cherokee county before I make a decision.

David, Frank and Bill--would you like to speak with Mr Waters? I can arrange it.
Let me know--you guys need to be open before you blast him and change. Let me know if you would like to speak with him.

@Frank Jones...The last time we had "Change", Obama saved the country from financial collapse (you feel saved? you have low standards), saved the American auto industry (actually no, the only commpany turning a profit is the one who said no to his help...but gotta get that UAW vote!), captured Bin Laden (U.S. Navy Seals did that, not a President of any sort), captured Hussein(which Hussein? Saddam was captured in 2003), and has been strategically attacking Al Qaeda (while simultaneously supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt). If you recall, GWB squandered a budget surplus (read as overtaxation) and ran $500-600 billion deficits annually (as opposed to the trillion dollar deficits Obama runs...good call), cut taxes for the wealthiest, drove the economy off the cliff, started 2 wars (started in 2001, NYC, or arguably before that during the Clinton years, depending on your perspective), diverted strategic military resoures from Afghanistan causing that war to drag on (much like FDR diverted resources to Europe first in WWII when Germany had never attacked us?), declared "Success" 9 years ago (kinda like the "recovery" we hear so much about from our current POTUS?), and encouraged lending & home ownership for ALL AMERICANS which in turn led to the mortgage crisis (see Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Fannie MAe/Freddie Mac...this point of yours is total crock).

@Sam...The economic collaspe that Obama inherited, yes inherited, was the worst in over 70 years. It was spiraling down fast. Did he stop the implosion? Most certainly. Is the economy completely fixed? No. But believe it or not, the economy was never going to be back 100% in 4 years due the size of the Great Recession!
Auto Industry...Without action, the American companies, even Ford, would have ceased to exist and laid off millions more direct and indirect employees.
Captured Bin Laden? Yes, he gave the order to send a Navy Seal team into Pakistan to capture and/or kill Bin Laden.
Hussein...Sorry, I mis-typed. I meant to say Khadafi via support to the rebels.
GWB squandered a budget surplus which was NOT OVERTAXATION. If you recall, the government had a debt and any "overtaxation" was to pay down debt something that your Republicans are now wanting to do.
GWB ran large deficits during a period of relative strong economy. Every economist will tell you that in a recession the government must spend money, even deficit spending, to stimulate the economy. In the scheme of things, Obama's $1T is better that GWB's $500B.
Mortgage crisis was also caused under GWB due to weak oversight of the banking industry...something that the Republicans have prevented Obama from fixing.
Your arguments are the total crock.

@Frank...Not shockingly, you're more than willing to throw your Republican adversaries under the bus for rather than shoulder any blame, particularly in the banking/financial sectors and/or housing when the some of the most influential congressmen responsible for the rogue way in which that was run had a "D" after their name. How very progressive of you to ignore that...
Auto Industry...Your supposition that they would have ceased to exist is conjecture at best and only serves to reinforce the messianic qualities you would like to associate with Obama, but it just ain't so. It might have forced the unions to suck it up and come to the table, and golly, we can't have that now can we?
I'll give you that one, though I am reluctant to denigrate the efforts of the men who actually made the assault. That has nothing to do with political party, I just personally hate to give credit for that dangerous job to a politician rather than the sailors who carried it out, regardless of what letter they have behind their name.
Khadafi via support to the rebels". - I see, and that doesn't strike you as the least bit hypocritical considering his previous stances on Iraq/Afghanistan?

GWB squandered a budget surplus ... No, not entirely, though it did figure prominently. The surplus also came from the Clinton era gutting of the military and intelligence sectors which left quite the "inheritance" bill to pay come 09/11/2001. Clinton was capable of bipartisanship, however, whereas Obama is not.
GWB ran large deficits during a period of relative strong economy. (after 9/11 the economy was on shaky ground) Every economist will tell you that in a recession the government must spend money,(nope, just every Kinesian economist)even deficit spending, to stimulate the economy. In the scheme of things, Obama's $1T is better that GWB's $500B. ( Seriously? Are you kidding? Your math is terrible. Had you put half of that money into actual job creation instead of social programs, maybe, but you didn't.)

Mortgage crisis was also caused under GWB due to weak oversight of the banking industry...something that the Republicans have prevented Obama from fixing. (As hard as it may be to believe, given the authority which Obama wields so heavily, no President regulates banking or housing. That's Congress, and the House members most responsible for that were Democrats. Even if Obama wanted to, he hasn't the authority to "fix" anything regulatory, though he certainly thinks he does.)
No, my arguments are the voice of reason and, stealing a page from the Occupy movement, part of the 60% of sane folks in the middle of this country who are hoping to survive the war between the far left and right wing factions in this country who are ripping it apart. If you ever come to your senses, join us, we have cookies.

@Sam...It's obvious that you have blinders on and listen to the Fox "News" network!
Banking Crisis - was not caused by Dems nor Fannine Mae & Freddie Mac. It was caused by a society on hyped up on debt provided by unregulated Wall Street bankers selling unregulated derivatives.
Auto Industry - yes it was conjecture that the auto industry was going under, but we'll never know for sure as Obama stepped up when the financial industry wouldn't or couldn't. At the time, it was to risky to let roll the dice!
Unions - Republicans hate the unions to no end! But if you recall, unions have served a great purpose in our society and were formed as the result of unfair business practices by business owners -- unsafe work environments, low wages, child labor, and virtual/economic slavery. Unions helped raise the standard of living and with the decline of unions the power has shifted back to the business owners and as a result - lower wages, fewer benefits and a decline in the American powerhouse - the middle class (the true job creators).
Khadafi - Obama's actions are hypocritical as the method Obama took on Libya was strategically sound...A country's revolution must be from the inside, not imposed by outside forces.

Partisanship - it was bad under Clinton and much, much worse under Obama. Obama has reached out to the Republicans and has been shunned at every gesture. The Republicans have denied that he is even the legitimate president as he's "not" a citizen. Many Republicans have even declared that "He's not my President". For a government to work, both sides have to be willing to negotiate, but your side won't!
Your arguments aren't the "voice of reason", they're talking points from a "news" channel and politcal establishment that puts greed and power before the country. It's time for you to read some history, think logically and get your head of your *ss.
