notice how 85% of them are probation violation.
When i was on probation, i met my officer once. paid my fines, did my classes ect. but never had a drug test, never actually spoke with her outside of the day i was put on it.
Which just goes to show that probation in cherokee county is not only just a HUGE MONEY GAME, but is set up for people to fail.

also, did you know that in the state of GA it is ILLEGAL to drink outside of your house.
It is illegal for someone who has consumed alcohol to walk on a side walk "drunken pedestrian impeding side walk traffic.'
If you step on black top, its drunken pedestrian crossing road way.
And if you get in your car its DUI "over .08" or DUI less safe ) 0.07 and under.
So being that there is a DUI Less safe which means that it is up to the officer weather or not he believes you are under the influence "drinking half a beer makes it illegal for you to walk out of the restaurant, across the parking lot, and get into your car"
So by drinking a beer with dinner and leaving the restaurant you have broken 3 laws in the process, 4 technically because when they charge you with DUI less safe then tac on DUI as well.

To nope nope: probation is not made to set you up for failure. People choose to fail. If you are on probation and you get arrested for drive with a suspended license it will show up as a probation violation because when you are put on probation you are told that you are no allowed to get in trouble. And you can legally drink a beer in a restraunt with your dinner and walk to your car because a parking lot is private property. Only way a cop is supposed to be able to do anything is if you are to intoxicated to walk or if management of the place does something. And you should be responsible and not drink and drive at all.

not true. I have had a friend that got arrested for walking from bodocks bar and grill to the lofts. he wasnt falling down, he wasnt swaying. he was leaving a bar. they got him on 3 counts. drunk in public, pedestrian crossing road way, and impedding traffic of a side walk.
thats how i know about those laws. He had them dropped due to profiling. BUT it still cost him 5K for a lawyer and over a year of going to court atleast once a month. so total he lost a full day "atleast 1 a month" of work. as well as the 5K, plus lost his job because he doesnt have family here to bail him out.
So yes this actually happens here. and has happened here.

and yes i understand that you arent allowed to get in trouble on probation. but speeding can get it revoked if the officer is in a bad mood.
But the point i wanted to make is that for 2 years i only saw her once. ONCE. not twice, ONCE. it is her job to supervise me, and my actions. Thats why you are put on probation. I never got a drug test, i never got called it to be asked any questions. I didnt even remember her name.
I was placed on call in within 4 months of being on probation because i paid all my fines and had all my other crap done with.
THAT is the point i wanted to make.
They are doing their job. and in turn these kids and stupid adults get to comfortable thinking that they are normal again when in fact they arent.;

People on probation are serving a jail sentence in the outside world, they're given a chance. A lot of probation violators aren't even arrested for another criminal activity, every probation revocation hearing that I've ever sat through was mostly people who failed to or were not able to keep on schedule with paying off their fines and fees for whatever reason. Sometimes, yeah, it's their fault for not actively looking for employment but often times it's just sad cases.

Taylor you are right. Most of the people i saw going through a revocation hearing couldnt pay their fines. Then get jail time for not being about to pay their fines, or another fine.
I heard the judge tell a man that he should sell his car to get the payment money...... he asked how he was suppose to look for work, the judge said walk its not his problem.
