Chamber Names Top Young Professionals

Canton's Jeff Rusbridge was among those on the list.

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday named its inaugural group of "Top 10 In 10 Young Professionals to Watch," and Canton is represented on the list.

The list celebrates 25- to 40-year-olds in various fields who are considered Cherokee County's rising leaders in the next 10 years.

Among other criteria, the following honorees were chosen because of their professional achievements and their record of community service.

Recognized during the Chamber's monthly breakfast were:

  • Jeff Rusbridge: candidate for , assistant Canton attorney and partner at
  • Chris Bishop: attorney at the Law Firm of Barry W. Bishop
  • Alison Higgins: community relations coordinator at 
  • Mark Goddard: manager-commercial marketing at Cobb EMC
  • Neil Blackman: principal at Wetland & Ecological Consultants
  • Jeremy Swafford: CFO at
  • Billy Peppers: director-economic development services for the city of Woodstock
  • Greta Foll: president at Golden Home Services
  • Erika Neldner: managing editor at the .
  • Jason Nelms: founding partner at Everlast Synthetic Products LLC. 

The Top 10 will be featured in the June Issue of enjoy! Cherokee Magazine and have been nominated for Georgia Trend Magazine's 40 Under 40 recognition, Chamber President and CEO Pam Carnes said.
