Get an early start on your Valentine's Day celebration while supporting downtown merchants.

Canton's Valentine's Chocolate Walk begins at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Canton Theatre. At the theatre, walkers will receive a guide that shows each downtown business hosting a chocolate tasting. They will also receive a bag to carry all of their chocolates.

"Don't worry about those calories," Canton Main Street Program director Ginger Garrard said. "You'll be walking them off."

Tickets, which must be purchased in advance, cost $10. Only 250 tickets will be sold. As of this morning, 208 tickets remained.
