1. Cherokee County united against cancer Friday and Saturday during the 19th Annual Relay for Life, and contributor Amy Jennetten has video highlights. Participants raised money, strapped on their tennis shoes and walked through the night, hopeful that one day there might be a cure for the disease.
3. There was another shakeup in the race for Cherokee County Superior Court judge. Thursday night, Cherokee County Solicitor General David L. Cannon Jr. told a BridgeMill crowd that he was abandoning his bid for district attorney for a spot on the bench.
4. Late Friday night, Great Sky's Michelle Leigh Holbrook Homier announced her campaign for Cherokee County State Court judge. Look for details later today.
