It is with a saddened heart that I share the story of Michael Scott. Mike, who is in his 30's, is a loving father to his two beautiful children ages 3 & 6 and husband to the love of his life, Mary-Jane. In addition, he is the offensive line and strength football coach at Milton High School. The Scott family resides in Canton.
Mike, who has been in and out of the hospital a lot recently, was just diagnosed with Stage IV Adenocarcinoma Cancer and is given very limited time to live (possibly days-weeks). This all happened quite suddenly! As you can imagine, the family is drowning in just everyday living expenses as well as medical costs on top of trying to deal emotionally with this devastation.
In light of cancer awareness this month, I am reaching out to our community, in an effort to hopefully raise awareness and funds for this struggling family.

Currently, we are in the planning stages for a Family Fun Day Fundraising event. We have had many companies donate their services as well as numerous items for our raffle/auction. The Milton High School Football team is also selling "Lift up Coach Scott" wristbands at the school for $5 where all proceeds go to the Scott Family.

God Bless you Mike! You are in our thoughts and prayers daily. I am fighting stage 4 cancer also, but I am expected to recover, so my situation doesn't compare to yours. You are truly a blessing to many!
