Mr. Max McCullar, a 93-year-old resident of The Lodge at BridgeMill and a veteran of World War II,  was invited to ride in Woodstock’s Fourth of July parade with several members of the Volunteer Aging Council (VAC).   As the decorated convertible traveled down Main Street, Max was introduced to all the spectators who lined the street.    You could hear cheers of “Yay, Max!” and “Thank you, Max!”

As the parade came to a close, Max was met by his daughter Maxine, who drove him back to The Lodge.    When asked if he had a good time, Max replied, “That sure was a lot of fun!   Let’s do it again next year!”    The ladies from the VAC replied, “It’s a date.”
