Green Pets America - a local animal rescue group based in Cherokee County seeks volunteers for it's no kill humane society.  A group that rescues primarily dogs from high kill shelters through out Georgia, vets them, rehabilitates and then rehomes them is in need of fosters and volunteers in many areas. 

One going volunteers to walk and feed adoptable dogs at our adoption center located in Towne Lake - shifts available 6 days a week - 3 times  a day (takes anywhere from 30-90 minutes depending on the number of dogs). 

Volunteers to transport dogs to various places such as vets, boarding, adoption evets ect. 

Volunteers for adoption events and promotional events through out the county to help answer questions. 

Photographers: Talented with a camera?  We are always needing great shots of our dogs for the website. 

And fosters -- dont have the income or time to committe long term to a pet?  Foster one of our dogs short or long term (fosters needed every Saturday night thru Monday morning while our adoption center is closed --  regular fosters could also be a few days up to a few months  while we find the perfect forever home).  We provide everthing but the food.  You provide the food, the home and lots of love.
